Chess Boards
Creating chess boards is as much about functionality as it is about art. An appealing work of art is detrimental to the purpose if squares cannot be incorporated that clearly delineate the light squares from the dark.
Most of my recent work has been in Photoshop. I use heavy grade vinyl for printing the full-size boards, as it is durable, lays flat, resists spills, and is above all rollable for easy transport.
